My Most Favorite Youtube Video

Youtube is a big time-waster and everybody knows it. One minute, you’re browsing a video about an innocent meme and the time snowballs into hours as you browse for more videos. While Youtube can get addictive, with the right video, it can help inspire and put everything in your life into perspective.

Below is my favorite video that I first saw in 2013. It’s about a comedian whose daughter passed away due to cancer and his inability to cope up with the loss.

Listening to it now still wrenches my heart. I will never, ever forgive myself if this happened to my wife or daughter. At the same time, it is an eye-opening video on how you want to live your life despite all the hardships.  You can curl up and give up on everything you believed in, or you can fucking man up and roll with the punches.

Again, it’s a sobering reality about the inevitability of death. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but it is real. And we are all under its command.

There is ultimately nothing we can do but make the most out of what we have right now.

We need to love more.

We need to spend more time with the people we care about.

We need to get rid of the clutter that’s preventing us from being happy.

We need to live life to the fullest.

How about you? What’s your favorite Youtube video that inspires you? If you’ve seen the video above, what are your thoughts about it? Let me know by commenting below and let’s talk about it!
